APR. 02 2002... LAST MINUTE SHOW TOMORROW NIGHT!
Throttle has been asked at the last minute to participate in "The Rock Show" at The Cocamo Night Club (on Ontario Street) on Wednesday, April 3rd! Other bands playing will include Kingston's Loganseed and Outshyned. If you're fast, you can get advance tickets for $3.00 but otherwise, you can get in for $5.00 at the door! Word!

MAR. 27 2002... NEW SHOWS!
Throttle has a couple of new shows coming up soon... April 6th at another fantastic KPP punk show at 477 and the currently-being-postponed March Meltdown show at Earl Street Theatre. Check the shows page for more info!

MAR. 27 2002... WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS!
Well, if you're wondering why throttle.ca hasn't been around in the past couple of weeks - it's because our web host unfortunately suffered a massive hard drive failure and the site was among the many lost... however, all is well again as our host has recovered and throttle.ca has returned! Woot!

DEC. 20 2001... KONG NOT HAPPY! KONG SMASH!
Eyyyy! Check it out... the site's been updated to include a couple pics from the United Way benefit shows last month at Club 477 and The Elixir! Also, Throttle will be *ahem* "ripping it up old-school" this friday at Selby Hall so come on out to take part in some good old-fashioned holiday mayhem!

NOV. 09 2001... SHOWS FOR NOVEMBER!
Throttle is going to be very busy this month with at least 5 confirmed shows coming up (and possibly more to come)... The band will be participating at not just 1, but 2 (count 'em, 2) separate venues at Kingston's United Way Benefit Festival on the 24th. Also, the band will be hitting the road for a night to headline a show in Peterborough on December the 1st! So go check out the shows page to get all the details and come on out to hear for yourself what Throttle's been up lately!

NOV. 09 2001... BREATHE OUT...
At this point, Throttle would now like to introduce you to their new drummer, Dan McCully. McCully is a well-experienced multi-instrumentalist who started playing in bands at a very tender age. He is also a studio whiz who has recently apprenticed at Number 9 Studios in Toronto and currently owns and operates his own recording studio in Enterprise, Ontario. Throttle would like welcome McCully to the band and look forward with great anticipation for what lies ahead!

NOV. 09 2001... BREATHE IN...
This past week has seen the departure from the band of longtime drummer Josh Kirkham. It has been Josh's decision to leave the group due to a combination of fine details regarding both his and the rest of the band's aspirations for the future of Throttle. His parting has been an amicable one and Dan and Brad would both like to thank Josh greatly for his years of hard work and dedication towards the band. We wish you the best of luck, man.
